The Organic Fertilizer project finances the production of eco-friendly fertilizers such as vermicompost and bio-fertilizer. These products have growing demand among farmers and integrated crop producers due to soil health benefits and increased adoption of sustainable agriculture practices. WeGro funds the stages of raw material collection, composting, curing, drying, and packaging through partnered production centers.

Throughout the 10-month cycle, WeGro Field Officers (FOs) inspect composting pits, track moisture levels, verify microbial activity, and ensure that curing takes place under proper conditions. Production batches are documented in WeGro’s internal database, allowing traceability from raw input to finished product. At the end of the cycle, bulk buyers—including vegetable farmers, nurseries, and paddy growers—purchase the final product. A single payout is issued after all bulk sales and settlements are complete.
