Garlic stands as one of the most valuable spice crops in Bangladesh — a daily staple in every household and an essential ingredient driving the country’s food and processing industries. Yet, despite the growing demand, many rural farmers still struggle to access quality seeds and timely inputs, limiting their productivity and profit.
Through Garlic Farming – 8, WeGro empowers smallholder farmers in Boraigonj and Ullapara to cultivate high-quality garlic with proper financing, technical guidance, and assured market access. The project enables investors to be part of a transparent, impact-driven initiative that strengthens one of the country’s most important agricultural value chains.
With an investment of BDT 10,000, the projected return is BDT 10,500 – 10,580 over a 4-month cultivation cycle, distributed across two secure installments. This structure ensures that investors begin receiving returns even before the full cycle is completed, while farmers maintain smooth cash flow throughout their production process.
From land preparation and planting to harvest and sale, every activity is closely supervised by WeGro’s field officers and area managers, ensuring that farmers receive timely support, fair prices, and full accountability at every stage.
Each contribution to Garlic Farming – 8 creates lasting impact — helping farmers in northern Bangladesh achieve stable income and independence from high-interest lending systems, while offering investors fair, transparent returns. Together, we nurture growth, build trust, and cultivate prosperity — one field at a time.
